Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you! Hip Hop you have been through so much, where do I begin. I just really wanted to say that I hope you enjoy this joyous important day and let the world know that you will be around for many more years. Though there are some people who have tried to end your stay on this planet, they have failed time and time again. You've gotten me through some rough times and never let me down. When I needed you most, you've always spoken the truth to me when I gave you the time. Even the times that I kept asking the same questions over and over, you made me realize that you will always be there as long as I listened and remained loyal. Though there have been times where I have questioned your loyalty, but then I realized that all relationships change over time. When we were teenagers, not to give my age, but we had the best times of our lives, through our twenties we lived it up, and our thirties, we now appreciate you more than ever. I mean you introduced me to all of your friends, who are some of the most influential people like Rakim, Biz, Big Daddy Kane, Run-D.M.C, LL, Fat Boys, Jay-Z, Biggie, Nas, Redman, Wu-Tang, Mobb Deep, DMX, Brand Nubian, De La Soul, and the list goes on and on. You introduced me to so many other people that I just can't name them all. There have been imitators that try to disguise themselves as you, but some of us know who you really are and will never fall for the imitators. Even when I can't find you, I can always reminisce on the old times, or the times that we partied together. I just wanted to say thank you, because, you helped raise me! We have many more times to share, and I hope this day will be recognized by everyone that is true to you. Enjoy!
